Robin is a wizard in a near future world that has gone so very wrong. He lives in London with his daughter and manages his bar for magical folk The Redbreast.

170 cm tall, dark hair, a bit of beard, piercing blue eyes and a spattering of freckles - Robin has a face you don't easily forget and a frown that is known to give a pause to ill behaving customers. But mostly he's smiling and has quite a bit of cheeky attitude to spare.

He's not an athlete but in well enough shape. He likes to dress smartly, often you'll see him in a vest white dress shirt. He speaks with a very distinguishable Scottish accent and has a tendency towards strong language.

Robin is a hermetic wizard. He has an alchemy laboratory and a proper observatory in his home. He believes in the hermetic laws and follows that tradition but he's not exactly nitpicky about it. He practises some Kabbalah as well.

He speaks various languages, has a doctorate in mathematics and handles the accounting of his business all by his lonesome. He can tend a bar and mix drinks but he rarely does unless someone really needs to know about the scotchs that he sells.

He was born to wealth and influence. His clan is one of those old Highland clans that own several castles and boasts a robin in their coat of arms. This is why he was called Robin from a young age instead of his more traditional name Roy, which is also his father's name.

Robin was an adventurous young man. He travelled quite a bit, learned his magic from a professor in the Cambridge while studying for his PhD. He backpacked his younger years through Europe and middle-east, visited the Americas several times and returned home to Scotland to take part in family business.

However, eventually that just wasn't what he was made for, and through a small family feud, he left Scotland and settled in London, worked his ass off to gain enough headway to start a bar of his own. The Redbreast is a mix of an old fashioned gentlemen club and night club, known for its reputation as a gathering place for magical folk. The bouncers gently turn away mundanes at the door. Robin is widely known in the London magical circles.
